Impressive Research Resume Key to Tudor Cisu Future
Binghamton University sophomore premed student, Tudor Cisu wants to become a physician scientist. For that, he will need an extensive list of research credentials to be accepted for the best MD/PhD programs. At 19, Tudor Cisu is already well ahead of many upperclassmen.
Tudor Cisu research experience began when he approached a biophysicist professor at Syracuse University about the possibility of helping out with some research when he was still a junior in high school. Soon, he was also helping out at other research laboratories like the Spinal Cord Injury and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory at SUNY Upstate Medical University where he still works as a project aide.
At Binghamton, Tudor Cisu continues to collect impressive research credentials by finding a place with the Beaumont Bioengineering Research Laboratory, working under the supervision of Dr. Jacques Beaumont. This experience has helped to focus Tudor Cisu field of research since he’s already expressed interest researching heart disease in the future.
