More than just a C-Corps Manager – Eric Youn

I have been a C-Corps member for two years.  It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.  Today we were visited by Eric Youn.  Eric was the riginal manager of C-Corps.  He taught us how to build a web page and how create links for it.  I am making this webpage about him.

Eric Youn has been in many positions throughout his career such as youth mentor, program manager, program evaluator and more. Through his work in these positions, Mr Youn was able to help hundreds of children and others who are in need.

Eric Youn Graduated from the University of Houston in 1993, where he earned his degree in English. After that, Eric participated in many projects and programs designed to improve the education and living conditions of the youth; thus helping them live a healthy and normal life. Mr Youn has been involved with The Bridge Youth and Family Services, The Arrow Project Hawai’i Children’s Cancer Foundation and the my school, the American YouthWorks Charter School among many more.

While taking further education and working at the same time, Eric Youn was also able to present several of his research and studies in forums as well. Some of his professional presentations are The American YouthWorks Latino Technology Curriculum, The Montessori Approach to Member Work Assignments and Methods to Integrate Process Automation Technology into the Human Service Agency Infrastructure just to name a few.

2007 Academic Appointments of Eric Youn

Presently, Eric Youn who has had a number of academic appointments is a Professor for Distance Education at the School of Social Work at the University of Hawai‘i in Honolulu.  His experience with the institution has allowed him to work with other faculty members to plan, recruit and administrate a MSW distance education option to the neighboring Hawaiian Islands. In addition, Eric Youn also advises, orients and teaches classes to MSW students in a distance education format using internet, satellite television and site visits.  Moreover, Mr Youn evaluates hardship students for student union scholarship opportunities. Eric is also a member of the PhD, MSW, BSW, International Affairs and Distance Education Committees as well as being the Co-Chair of Practice Sequence.

Born on November 26, 1968 in Princeton, New Jersey, Eric Youn currently resides in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mr Youn works at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa – School of Social Work which is situated on the eastern end of campus on East West Road in Honolulu. Other prior academic appointments of Eric Youn include being a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington – School of Social Work, being a Graduate Research Assistant at the School of Social Work at the University of Texas in Arlington, being an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington – School of Social, being an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa – School of Social Work and being an Adjunct Professor at the Texas Christian University – School of Social Work.
